We are thrilled to announce that Redesign HK is now open for registration!

What is Redesign HK? Redesign HK is a design thinking challenge for secondary students to better understand the community we live in and develop a set of tools that will enable us to effectively create positive change. Through a 5 step design thinking framework, you can learn how to approach real-world problems, innovate creative ideas, and drive positive impact, whether in science, art, or business.

What's different about this challenge is that you won’t be merely judged on the outcome. Instead, we care about the whole process and want to encourage all students—regardless of their interest in social entrepreneurship—to participate.

Who can enter: Any secondary student in Hong Kong!
How This Challenge Works: The challenge will revolve around the guiding question: "How might we build towards a better Hong Kong?" Participants will go through the 5 design thinking stages (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test) and reflect on the process at the end. A challenge toolkit containing more detailed information and resources for each stage will be provided upon registration. All stages of this challenge will take place asynchronously.

~️ Now - Nov 25: Register individually or with a team of up to 4 people
~ Nov 30: Deadline to submit a problem statement
~ Jan 8: Deadline to submit a summary video
~ Jan 15: Top 3 Finalists are announced!

1st Place: $10,000 HKD + Trip to Design Thinking Conference Asia in Singapore with all expenses covered️
2nd Place: $3,000 HKD + Social Impact Tour️
3rd Place: $2,000 HKD
